It’s that time again. E3 time. Time for the booth babes, convention centres, announcments, new hardware and new game announcements. But I’m not interested in any of that, I just want to see the amazing cinematics for the upcoming games. Here are the best I’ve found so far.
I have started a collaboration project with some animators I work with. The whole idea is to build a story from all the random doodles that most artists and animators do at thier desks during a working day. When I started it I didn’t expect it to get more that 10 drawings in before people lost interest but its exceeded my expectations with more that 25 drawings to date and still going strong. Check it out at HERE
Sometimes when I’m not animating I do other things. Things like interviewing other animators. Here is one I did recently about a very talented Dutch animation director called André Bergs.
This is a great game with interesting characters and a engrossing storyline. The only thing I can think to make it better is some high quality cinematic action like the trailer below:
After a long wait(for me) they have finally released gameplay footage of the last game I worked on. Despite Deadline Games liquidating after finishing production on this I’m glad to see this will make it out into the public. RIP Deadline Games.
I’ve been visiting Montreal this week and had the amazing opportunity to go to La Ronde amusment park. It was great fun so I wanted to share some of the fun with you. Here are some videos taken by other people of the best rides I went on:
This trailer is just awesome! It’s stuff like this that made me want to become an animator. As a special bonus a friend of mine was heavily involved in this which makes it even more impressive. Enjoy!
Yes, I know. It’s a long name for a game but it makes sense if you’re a big Watchmen fan.
Anyway, here is the first annoucement about the upcoming release of Part 2 of the The End is Nigh which I worked on:
