This books was released a while ago, but now I have found some time to write a post about it. The story is about Kai, who is a friendly little caterpillar, that lives on a tree full of giant leaves. Kai has a best friend called Gum and together they do all kinds of adventurous things together. One of those adventures happens when Kai decides to learn to surf, the leaves of the tree. Gum is a great surfer and helps him to learn this new skill. This books is recommended for beginner readers and makes for a great bedtime stories. The vibrant illustrations will keep your kids engaged in the story and hopefully they take on board the messages about perseverance and friendship from the two caterpillars in the story.
